Join us for an evening of cocktails and a private dinner prepared by renowned local Chef Pablo Cadelli.

The dinner will take place at the Becker residence, Puerto Los Cabos Fundadores, Lote #53. To ensure transportation from J.W. Marriott, please RSVP by June 4th. Kindly note that space is limited, and priority will be given to physicians who RSVP first.

The event will be held on Saturday, June 22nd, please see schedule below:


  • 7:00-7:30pm: Continuous bus transport from JW Marriott to the dinner (look for the Trias MD bus sign)
  • 7:45-8:30pm: Mingle and enjoy cocktails
  • 8:30pm: Dinner
  • 10pm-11pm: Bus transport back to JW Marriott

Frank Phillips, MD

Professor, Director, Section of Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery, and Director, Division of Spine Surgery, Rush University Medical Center

Dr. Frank Phillips, a trailblazer in minimally invasive spine surgery, has been a visionary since the 1990s. Specializing in cervical and lumbar reconstructive surgery, he is renowned for expertise in motion-preserving procedures, leading FDA trials on cervical disc replacement. As a founder and past president of the Society of Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery, Dr. Phillips has pioneered techniques widely used today. Currently, a Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Rush University Medical Center, he educates spine surgeons globally. With a stellar career that includes directing the Spine Center at The University of Chicago, Dr. Phillips, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, is recognized as one of the top 28 spine surgeons in the country by Orthopedics this Week and listed in Becker’s Orthopedic Spine and Pain Management as one of the nation’s Top 100.

James H. Becker

Chief Executive Officer, TriasMD

Before coming to TriasMD James Becker was the president of Optum Global Solutions (OGS) and was responsible for leading and overseeing the organization. James has served in a variety of senior leadership roles at UnitedHealthcare. In his previous role, he became chief operating officer of Medicare & Retirement in 2015. In 2011, he was appointed executive vice president of operations for UnitedHealthcare, and led claim & provider services.

James earned a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1991, with a dual major in finance and multinational management. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan. James joined UnitedHealth Group in 2005.
