Executive Leadership

Lee Levanduski
Chief Executive Officer
Lee C. Levanduski serves as Chief Executive Officer of TriasMD and DISC Surgery Centers, where he leads strategy, operations, and growth across a national platform focused on advanced spine and musculoskeletal care. He brings more than 30 years of experience spanning clinical practice and healthcare leadership, with a focus on building high-performing physician organizations and scaling ambulatory surgical networks. Mr. Levanduski is also an Operating Partner with Chicago Pacific Founders. Prior to joining DISC, he spent seven years with Orthopaedic Solutions Management, where he served as Chief Growth Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles in multi-specialty MSK practices and worked with Navigant Consulting, advising physician organizations and health systems on strategy and operations. He holds degrees in health education, physical therapy, and business administration. Lee is known for a physician-first leadership approach that aligns clinical excellence with operational discipline. His work focuses on expanding access, improving care delivery, and supporting a seamless patient experience.

Andrew J. Nice
Chief Operating Officer
Andrew J. Nice, FACHE serves as Chief Operating Officer of TriasMD, where he leads operations, performance, and growth across the organization’s ambulatory surgery platform. He brings experience in healthcare operations and strategy, with a focus on scaling physician-aligned platforms, improving operating performance, and driving sustainable growth.
Mr. Nice most recently served as Regional Vice President of Operations for United Surgical Partners International, where he oversaw a multi-site ambulatory surgery portfolio in Northern California. In this role, he led strategy, operations, and financial performance, partnering with physicians and health system leaders to expand access, grow case volume, and improve EBITDA.
Prior to USPI, he held senior operational leadership roles within HCA Healthcare and Tenet Health as Chief Operating Officer, where he led operational strategy, capital projects, and service line growth.
Mr. Nice is known for a collaborative and execution-focused leadership style, aligning physicians, operators, and teams to deliver measurable results. His work focuses on operational discipline, scalable growth, and supporting high-quality patient care. He holds a Master of Health Administration from the University of Iowa, Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Psychology from Augustana College, and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).

Mike Lembo, CPA
Chief Financial Officer
Mike Lembo serves as Chief Financial Officer of TriasMD, where he leads financial strategy, liquidity management, capital planning, and enterprise performance across the organization. He operates at the intersection of finance and operations, partnering closely with executive leadership and clinical teams to build scalable infrastructure, enhance operational visibility, and support disciplined, long-term value creation across a growing multi-site healthcare platform.
Mike brings more than a decade of progressive leadership experience across private equity–backed healthcare platforms, multi-site operational finance, and Big Four audit and advisory. Prior to joining TriasMD, he served as Chief Financial Officer of a multi-state cardiovascular surgery center network, where he oversaw finance, accounting, and strategic planning during a period of platform expansion. Earlier in his career, he held senior finance leadership roles at The Aspen Group and began his career at Ernst & Young, advising public and private companies on GAAP reporting, technical accounting matters, and internal controls.
Mike is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and an Executive MBA candidate at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He earned his undergraduate degree from Syracuse University, where he studied accounting, finance, and computer science.

Joey Dambroso
Controller
Joseph Dambroso serves as Controller at TriasMD, where he leads accounting operations, financial reporting, and the internal control environment for a rapidly scaling, physician-led platform supporting DISC ambulatory surgery centers and clinics. He is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial information across a growing multi-site footprint, enabling data-driven decision-making and disciplined expansion in a highly regulated healthcare environment.
Mr. Dambroso brings more than 15 years of experience across public and private companies spanning healthcare, biotechnology, technology, and logistics. He has held finance and accounting leadership roles at Amazon, 4D Molecular Therapeutics, and Lineage, following early-career experience in audit at Ernst & Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers. His expertise includes SEC reporting, technical accounting, SOX compliance, and building scalable financial infrastructure within complex, compliance-driven organizations.
At TriasMD, Mr. Dambroso focuses on building a best-in-class finance function that supports the growth and operational performance of DISC. He partners closely with executive leadership to align financial strategy with clinical and operational priorities, driving efficiency, standardization, and long-term value creation across the platform. His work underpins a care delivery model focused on high-quality outcomes, operational excellence, and sustainable growth.

Rachel Jensen
VP of Supply Chain and Procurement
Rachel is a strategic supply chain and procurement leader with a proven track record of driving operational excellence and enterprise value across complex, multi-site, high growth organizations. She has led and executed end to end supply chain strategies across urgent care, medical aesthetics, veterinary, and retail sectors, building scalable infrastructure to support rapid expansion.
She has driven large scale transformations at organizations including Align Technology, WellBiz Brands, and The Aspen Group, unlocking cross portfolio synergies, optimizing supplier networks, and negotiating high impact agreements, directly contributing to EBITDA growth through cost optimization, margin expansion, and operational efficiency.
In addition to her corporate leadership, Rachel serves on the Board of Directors for Scottsdale Leadership, where she contributes to community focused initiatives and leadership development. She is passionate about driving sustainable value, building high performing teams, and partnering with organizations to support long-term growth and innovation.

Mike Bailey
VP of Development
Mike Bailey serves as Vice President of Business Development at TriasMD, where he focuses on expanding the organization’s national network of spine and musculoskeletal centers and building strategic partnerships to support long-term growth.
He brings more than 25 years of experience across the medical device and healthcare space, with a background in business development, sales leadership, and go-to-market strategy. Prior to TriasMD, Mike held leadership roles at Global One Ventures and Stryker, and served as Chief Executive Officer of BMG, advising early-stage companies on growth and commercialization.
Mike began his career as Co-Founder of US Orthopedics, a national surgery center company specializing in orthopedic and spine care, which was later acquired by National Surgical Hospital Corporation.

Robert S. Bray Jr. MD
Neurological Spine Surgeon and Founder of DISC
Renowned within the medical community, Dr. Robert S. Bray, Jr. stands as the pioneering neurosurgeon who introduced minimally invasive spine surgery to California. In 2006, he founded DISC with a mission to revolutionize spine care, and he continues to lead the field, catering to a diverse clientele including elite athletes, celebrities, and professionals.
Dr. Bray, a Baylor College of Medicine graduate, has held key positions at esteemed institutions like St. John’s Medical Center, Century City Hospital, and Daniel Freeman Memorial Hospital. His notable contributions include founding Cedars Sinai’s The Institute for Spinal Disorders, a major spine program, and subsequently establishing the state-of-the-art DISC.
Beyond his clinical achievements, Dr. Bray is committed to education and research, mentoring over 25 fellows and contributing to global medical discourse through lectures and peer-reviewed articles. A holder of multiple surgical device patents, Dr. Bray is a sought-after expert frequently featured in the media.

Stephen Hochschuler, MD
Orthopedic Spine Surgeon, Co-founder Texas Back Institute
The co-founder and chairman of the board of the Texas Back Institute, Stephen Hochschuler, M.D., is a board certified orthopedic surgeon with outstanding credentials and expertise in the treatment of the spine.
A graduate of Columbia College in New York, Dr. Hochschuler received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School. He completed an internship and surgery residency at Boston City Hospital and an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas.
He has founded several medical-related companies, including Back Systems, Inc., a risk management company in Dallas; and CompTain, Inc., a worker’s compensation PPO. He also served on the advisory boards of CeDaR Surgical, Inc. and Advanced Medical Technologies, Inc., and as a trustee with Picower Institute for Medical Research.

Frank Phillips, MD
Professor, Director, Section of Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery, and Director, Division of Spine Surgery, Rush University Medical Center
Dr. Frank Phillips, a trailblazer in minimally invasive spine surgery, has been a visionary since the 1990s. Specializing in cervical and lumbar reconstructive surgery, he is renowned for expertise in motion-preserving procedures, leading FDA trials on cervical disc replacement. As a founder and past president of the Society of Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery, Dr. Phillips has pioneered techniques widely used today. Currently, a Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Rush University Medical Center, he educates spine surgeons globally.
With a stellar career that includes directing the Spine Center at The University of Chicago, Dr. Phillips, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, is recognized as one of the top 28 spine surgeons in the country by Orthopedics this Week and listed in Becker’s Orthopedic Spine and Pain Management as one of the nation’s Top 100.
